This is my first HD wedding video and also the first full time DSLR shooting. There are few new equipments being used in this video. First, my brand new steadicam specially caribarated for my 550d. The 550d is still too light for me. I’m going to add more weight on it anyway. Some of you might have noticed that i re-used the shooting style for wedding gown. But this time, i shot it with my new Canon 10-22mm. This is the result i expected and i finally made it. During the shooting in hotel lobby, we were warned again and again. We are not supposed to perform any photo or video shooting in the hotel lobby. But, we don’t give a damn, always. Another new equipment, we call it spider pod. It is a car mounting kit. Although this clip is only appeared less than 4 second, the risk for taking this shot is extremely high. After unmounting the spider pod from the car, i realize that actually i’m a super risk taker. I’m thinking whether i should do this for the next shooting.

This film was shot on a Canon 5D MkII using a 24-105 f4, standard lens, lit with Dedo’s and edited on FCP. It was an insert to a play produced by the Drip Action Theatre in Arundel, West Sussex of the play “The Bench” by Gerald Sylberas. It was projected on to a large screen as part of the play. The location was the Norfolk Hotel, Arundel.

Mine vaganti è un film del 2010 diretto da Ferzan Özpetek, interpretato da un cast corale, che comprende fra gli altri Riccardo Scamarcio, Alessandro Preziosi, Nicole Grimaudo, Lunetta Savino ed Ennio Fantastichini. Il film, scritto da Özpetek con la collaborazione di Ivan Cotroneo, è costato circa sette milioni di euro, è prodotto dalla Fandango con la collaborazione di Rai Cinema e il contributo della Regione Puglia, attraverso Apulia Film Commission. Il film affronta il tema della famiglia, raccontato attraverso le vicende di un clan familiare nel Salento. Utilizzando il genere della commedia, Özpetek traccia il ritratto di una famiglia meridionale contemporanea, considerata come un nucleo di “mine vaganti”, cercando di far cadere una serie di luoghi comuni molto radicati nella società italiana.[1] Ha ottenuto 13 candidature ai David di Donatello 2010, vincendo due statuette per i migliori interpreti non protagonisti (Ilaria Occhini ed Ennio Fantastichini), e nello stesso anno ottiene il Premio Speciale della Giuria al Tribeca Film Festival.[2] Ha vinto 5 Nastri d’argento e ha ottenuto una nomination al premio Alabarda d’oro come miglior sceneggiatura. Dopo una serie di acclamate proiezioni americane avvenute tra maggio e giugno, il film è stato ufficialmente candidato ai Golden Globes 2011.[3]
